ESPN Unveils Re-Designed Version Of ESPN360

ESPN unveiled a re-designed version of ESPN360.com as part of a plan to transform the service into a 24/7 live sports destination by increasing its live programming with improved video quality, expanded controls and easy navigation between multiple live events. The new service can offer up to ten simultaneous live events, which users can view through a main viewing window and other smaller thumbnails. Recently-completed events will also be available for replay. The new interface allows fans to see a full programming guide and allows ESPN to potentially provide what it calls an “HD-like presentation” in coming months. Images will be up to 400% larger than ESPN360’s previous offerings. Meanwhile, ESPN360.com launches on RCN systems this weekend.
