ABC Selling Old News Footage on Web

ABC News announced that it will begin selling hundreds of hours of older news and documentary footage on its own site and Amazon.com through a new DVD on demand service. The new service provides news junkies with the ability to purchase archival news footage without requiring ABC to produce thousands of DVDs ahead of time. Instead, ABC will produce each DVD individually as users purchase them online, through a partnership with the company CustomFix Labs. The content available through the new service includes classic ABC News specials, such as Royal Wedding: Prince Charles & Lady Diana and The Assassination of President Kennedy, as well as various Presidential speeches from the past few decades.
