Broadband Enterprises Creates Ad Marketplace, the Video Answer to Doubeclick

Online video ad network/production firm Broadband Enterprises said it plans to launch vComm, a Web-based marketplace where publishers and advertisers can buy and sell contextually relevant ad inventory. According to Broadband Enterprises executives, the new platform will enable advertisers to purchase online video ad inventory that is contextually relevant, much like Google's adSense, while also providing publishers with the ability to monetize more video and text content. To use the new platform, any Web publisher large or small can ad a simple piece of code to their site's pages, which in turn scans that particular pages' content. The product then automatically finds and serves the most relevant ad based on that content scan.
