
Lionsgate, the independent movie studio behind films such as the Oscar winning Crash and the Saw horror franchise, has made a strategic investment in Break.com, a video Web site targeted at young men. As a result of the partnership – the terms of which were not disclosed - Break.com now becomes an online distribution hub for Lionsgate’s 11,000 movies and TV episodes, as well as an obvious promotional platform for any upcoming releases produced by the studio.
