MLBAM, Dodgers Resolve VOD Dispute

MLB President & COO Bob DuPuy said the league, MLBAM and the Dodgers have agreed to a resolution on VOD rights that will allow the club limited provisions to show shoulder programming and some highlights through the format. The other 29 clubs have the option to pursue VOD deals under the same provisions, though DuPuy said none have to date elected to do so. The Dodgers and MLB battled last year when the league argued the Dodgers' VOD deal with Time Warner Cable violated a ‘00 agreement that designated MLBAM as rights holder to the sport's interactive media.
