Ridiculous Item of the Day: Milwaukee Brewers Stadium Naming Rights Holder, Miller Beer, Places Anti-Brewers Ad in Wrigley Field

A spokesman for the Miller Brewing Company says Miller roots for the Milwaukee Brewers 105 percent. That's after a Miller Lite at at Wrigley Field over the weekend series with the Brewers seemed to suggest otherwise. The ad, pictured on the left, reads "we'd prefer a pennant chase to a sausage race." It could be taken as a suggestion that the company was rooting for the Cubs, who trail the Brewers in the National League Central. It could also be seen as a slam on the Brewers sausage race. The Brewers, of course, play in the shadow of Miller's headquarters in Miller Park.
