Joost has reached an agreement with MLBAM that grants the company the right to make on-demand game broadcasts and highlight clips from the ’07 MLB postseason available on its Web site. Joost will begin airing LDS, LCS and World Series games within 24 hours of their initial airing and will also stream “Daily Rewind,” an MLB.com-produced highlight show. The games and shows will be available on Joost for one month. Ripe Digital Entertainment struck a deal with Internet TV service Joost to offer three of its digital networks. Under the agreement, Joost will carry RipeTV, OctaneTV and FlowTV. Ripe’s networks are distributed across multiple venues, including video-on-demand, mobile phones and broadband. RipeTV focuses on beautiful women and comedy, OctaneTV on motor sports and FlowTV on hip-hop music and culture.
