Major League Baseball and People Magazine have partnered on an effort that seeks to find the “Sexiest Baseball Fan Alive.” The promotion is the first time that People has partnered with a major professional sports league for an in-book/online promotion. Marketing, being handled in-house by People, runs today through November with the winner to be named in the Nov. 26 issue (which hits newsstands Nov. 16) in conjunction with the publication’s annual “Sexiest Man Alive” effort. The sexiest baseball fan can be a male or female. A dedicated Web site, People Sexiest Fan.com, has launched where consumers can take part in the search.
