The viral video phenomenon is set travel from the Web to the sky. LG15 Studios, the production team behind the YouTube hit lonelygirl15, has struck a deal with the airline Virgin Atlantic to distribute the company’s original Web series, KateModern, on international flights. Passengers will be able to view the first 31 episodes of the short form, UK-set mystery drama - which debuted on the social networking site Bebo back in July – via their seatback TVs. Virgin Atlantic executives said that they expect KateModern will be the first of several Internet original series the airline will offer to its passengers in the near future.
