NBC Universal is shutting down its DotComedy website, which has seen traffic plunge 30% in the last three months, after just over a year in business. The site offers both original and user-generated comedy videos, as well as clips of stand-up, TV shows and movie trailers. The company is expected to fold DotComedy's content into other existing NBC sites, while staffers will likely be assigned to other NBC Universal digital properties. NBCU also recently launched Hulu, an online video distribution venture with News Corp. that features full-length NBC TV comedies like "The Office."http://dmwmedia.com/news/2007/11/02/report-nbc-universal-to-shutter-dotcomedy-website
