CBS Sports Signs March Madness Video-on-Demand Deal

CBS Sports announced Monday that it had struck deals with Comcast Corp. and Bresnan Communications for video-on-demand highlights of March Madness games. CBS Sports and CBS College Sports Network will create VOD highlights of 63 games from the NCAA men's basketball tournament that will be available in both high and standard definition. That will include key moments of each game as well as interviews and news conferences. There will also be other content including a look back at previous March Madness moments, the network said. The highlights will be available on VOD beginning in early March; the first games begin Thursday, March 20. Comcast and Bresnan are the first two MSOs to agree to offer the service, although it's being offered free to other MSO partners.
