Red Sox fans Maggie Magner and Sue Stofira have launched Girlsox Nation, a Web site "exclusively for female Sox fans." Features include pictures of the players, a section called "Pink Hats" for "Girly Gossip and Frivolous Fun," and a "primer on 'Baseball Anatomy.'" Magner: “We realized there are a lot of women out there who are very adamant about their fan experience” The gals have teamed up with team GM Theo Epstein’s “A Foundation To Be Named Later” for a couple of fund-raising events, including a fashion show featuring Girlsox Nation T-shirts and other World Series-licensed ladies’ apparel, and they are working on other Sox-related activities.
