The Cavaliers have launched their playoff marketing campaign, entitled "Rise Up and Cheer," through a new partnership with Alltel Wireless. The campaign marks the club’s first meaningful entry into mobile for a marketing campaign and extends last spring’s Rise Up promotional effort. The Cavaliers-Alltel alignment will include wireless news updates on the postseason, notification of special team-organized fan events and watch parties, the distribution of a dedicated “Rise Up And Cheer” mobile wallpaper and several giveaway offers. The Cavaliers also will give away “Rise Up and Cheer” cards at their Eastern Conference quarterfinal Game 1 against the Wizards Saturday, with playoff tickets and other prizes given to fans displaying the most creative display of their cards on cavs.com.
