Microsoft Buys Travel Search Engine Farecast For $75-$100 Million

Farecast is an online travel search engine that attempts to predict whether airfares will rise or fall on specific routes. MSN Travel has some familiarity with Farecast, having inked a partnership with the travel startup last summer. Deal terms were not disclosed, though the report pegged the price at somewhere between $75-$100 million.
