Having proved that it can sell individual song downloads in the millions after only five months in operation, MTVN’s Rock Band video game will begin selling full-length albums starting next week with Judas Priest. So far, Rock Band has sold more than 8 million downloads of roughly 140 tracks. The 1982 album Screaming For Vengeance, featuring the hit “You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’” and nine other tracks. The album goes on sale April 22 for Microsoft Xbox on April 22 ($1.99 per track or 160 Microsoft Points) or $14.99 (1,200 Microsoft Points) and April 24 for Sony PlayStation 3 store.
