Washington Post Streams Live 5-Hour Web Cast of the NFL Draft

washingtonpost.com, an award-winning news and information Web site, will stream live coverage of the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft this Saturday, April 26 from 2:30 pm until 8:00 pm ET. The coverage will focus primarily on the Washington Redskins, with expert analysis of draft picks and discussion of the team's evolving strategy during the day. Hosted by Jon DeNunzio, washingtonpost.com's Sports Editor, along with Washington Post NFL editors Cindy Boren and Gene Wang, the DraftCast will combine the unique perspectives of Post Redskins reporters Jason La Canfora and Jason Reid, NFL reporter Mark Maske and washingtonpost.com blogger Dan Steinberg. Former Redskins great and washingtonpost.com "Word on the Street" host Ken Harvey will also offer analysis, joining other Post reporters and draft experts from across the country."This Webcast provides Washington Redskins fans with a go-to place for the latest team news and information while they are following the NFL draft," said Jim Brady, Executive Editor of washingtonpost.com. A recap discussion will take place Saturday at 7 pm ET if the Redskins trade away their first pick.
