Wynn Resorts Ltd., the casino company founded by billionaire Stephen Wynn, sued Hall of Fame basketball player Charles Barkley in Nevada over $400,000 in gambling debts. Wynn Las Vegas, the company's Las Vegas casino, extended credit to Barkley in October and wasn't repaid, according to a lawsuit filed yesterday in state court in Las Vegas. The casino accused the former National Basketball Association All-Star of breach of contract and unjust enrichment. ``By taking the $400,000 in credit and refusing to pay the amount despite repeated attempts, Barkley has wrongfully exercised dominion and control over Wynn's property,'' Wynn Las Vegas said in the complaint. Barkley, 45, is an NBA analyst for Turner Sports. His agent, Marc Perman, didn't immediately return a message seeking comment. A lawyer for Barkley wasn't listed on the court's docket. Barkley may be charged with a felony, Clark County District Attorney David Roger said today. Wynn Las Vegas referred the matter to his office on May 13, Roger said. ``Mr. Barkley will receive notice that we are considering filing a criminal complaint against him,'' Roger said in a telephone interview. ``He could be facing felony charges.''
