NIKE To Roll Out PhotoiD Service in Europe

Nike today is rolling out a new service called Nike PhotoiD across Europe that allows users to create their own shoes “based on colorful pictures they take on a camera phone.” The service allows the footwear design to be “saved as mobile wallpaper or sent to a friend, and they can also buy a pair of the personalised shoes.” PhotoiD designs will be mapped onto Nike’s ‘85 Dunk high-top basketball sneaker (Manchester GUARDIAN, 6/16).
