Raycom Sports is tackling a new revenue source with a deal to give college sports fans more to see and do while they watch games on TV. The Charlotte-based TV sports syndication company has signed a four-year deal with Jacked Inc. to produce companion Web pages tied to the company's broadcasts of Atlantic Coast Conference and Southeastern Conference football and basketball games. The pages, dubbed Webtops, will offer video highlights from past games, instant update statistics, chat sessions with friends and rival fans, links to related print and broadcast coverage of players and teams and more. The pages are made to be customized, allowing fans to highlight aspects they're interested in and ignore others. For ACC games, the Jacked-produced game Web pages will be available on TheACC.com, the official site with rights controlled by Raycom. For SEC games, the new service, which is free, can be found at raycomSports.com; the SEC's Web site is not affiliated with Raycom.
