Some consolidation in the lower ranks of the online golf world… Stracka.com, which bills itself as “golf’s premier social network” has acquired GolfQ.com, a golf promotions site. The two sites will remain separate: Stracka will focus on stuff like handicap recording and other tools, while GolfQ will remain focused on marketing and promotions. GolfQ has been around since 1999, and Stracka is owned by Stracka Design Company, a golf technology and services firm.
