Nielsen Online in an analysis of online discussion between August 4-10 noted Phelps was the most talked-about Olympian competing in the basketball, beach volleyball, gymnastics and swimming competitions. Among the four sports, swimmers led with 46% of the discussion, followed by basketball players at 38%. The following chart lists the most discussed athletes from those four sports between August 4-10 (Nielsen).
