David Hasselhoff Blogs From Arizona State Football Game

With his daughter, Taylor Ann, now a freshman at UA, Hasselhoff did more than hop in KITT and head to Tucson to get her situated. He did more than buy season tickets to make the Wildcats' Aug. 30 opener his first college football game. Hasselhoff went as far as pushing UA football into worldwide fame by posting cellphone video of his game day experience on his Web site, www.hasselhoff.com. The Wildcats' German fan base just quadrupled. "We are all virgins!" a red-clad Hasselhoff declared in one clip on their way to the game. That surely reddened his daughter enough to earn her a seat in the Zona Zoo as well. A second clip has the Hoff in front of the student section, tossing a bomb like Willie Tuitama as he declared that Arizona Stadium rocks. "They (the students) were chanting 'Hasselhoff,' " he told the Johnjay and Rich in the Morning show (airing on KISS-FM, 104.7, in Phoenix and KRQQ-FM, 93.7, in Tucson). "I couldn't even get through the tunnel to my seat. It was fantastic, man. And the game was great. I tell you, the people in Arizona, they're classy people. I mean they're really beautifully nice people."
