TVLoop.com - Where TV Meets Social Networking

If you’re an avid Facebook user and TV aficionado, you’ve probably heard of Watercooler’s TVLoop. It’s a Facebook application that brings full TV episodes of many popular shows directly to your Facebook profile; recently, Watercooler teamed up with Hulu to extend their offering to 40 new shows, including ER, One Tree Hill, and others. Now, the folks at Watercooler have decided to give TVLoop a centralized space of their own: TVLoop.com. The site features over 200 popular TV shows (forget about most of them if you don’t live in the US, though), and has 15 million registered subscribers which come from the biggest social networks: Facebook, MySpace, Friendster, Bebo, and hi5. The site is designed to be a centralized hub for all TVLoop users. If you comment on an episode of the show on TVLoop.com, TVLoop users on Facebook or any other social network can reply directly from their respective site. The site also offers games, on-demand video content from major networks (including shows such as The Simpsons, House, How I Met Your Mother, Chuck and The Office), content widgets, such as quote of the day and quizzes, and shopping for show-branded merchandise.
