Colleges Launch Web Sites To Promote Heisman Candidates

The Univ. of California’s athletic department has “started a Heisman Trophy campaign for a standout junior, launching a Web site devoted to” WR DeSean Jackson. The Web site, the1towatch.com, “promises to be updated with video highlights, player profiles and photo galleries.” To promote QB Brian Brohm for the Heisman, the Univ. of Louisville (UL) last week launched brianbrohm.info, which features game highlights stats, records and news articles. UL “plans to update the site throughout the season to include game clips and a weekly Brohm diary.”
