It might surprise many of those who are digitally obsessed to find out that until just this month, soccer superstar David Beckham did not have a dedicated Web site. It might surprise just as many to find out that a Chicago-based Web developer, UnCommon Thinking, did the honors of creating Beckham's first Web site, www.davidbeckham.com, which went live on July 13. The site is focused “as much on Beckham as a celebrity as it is on his soccer talent.” There is information about his hairstyles and tattoos, and next week a series of Webisodes will feature Beckham interviewing his teammates.
