Ridiculous Item of the Day: Each Atlanta Braves All-You-Can Eat Ticket Leads to 3.4 Sodas, 2.5 Hot Dogs, 2.1 Popcorn, 1.1 Peanuts, 1.3 Nachos

First a super-sized video board. Then a kids' play area. And now, all-you-can-eat seats at Turner Field, the Braves' latest effort to grow their fan base. Perhaps literally, in this case.
The Braves last weekend debuted their all-you-can-eat seats, and during the three-game series against the Pirates, 2,220 fans sitting in the sections consumed 7,400 sodas, 5,500 hot dogs, 4,600 servings of popcorn, 2,400 bags of peanuts and 1,500 servings of nachos. The team said that the promo, which is available on nearly 1,250 seats per game for the remainder of the season, “is driving ticket sales to parts of the stadium that often have gone empty”.
