Major record label Sony BMG announced on Monday the formation of a joint venture with Dada, a provider of Web and mobile community and entertainment services, that will create a direct-to-consumer mobile and Web entertainment service. he service will initially be offered in the U.S., and provide ringtones, full-track downloads, images, video ringers, mobile games, in addition to community features such as photo- and video-sharing, dating, blogs and social networking.
