BluChipz.com has announced the launch of a beta version of its new online social network for amateur athletes. Initially available targeting the Mid-Atlantic region, the free site allows athletes to promote their skills, network, learn about training and stay connected through personal and team profiles, video, messaging, forums and blogs. Virginia-based BluChipz said that it also plans to connect members with pro athletes through online chats and blogs.
