Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the site will provide the Collective with a means to identify new talent the company could represent while also serving as a promotional tool for the projects its filmmakers produce. At the same time, the new owner will enable the site to beef up its offerings to genre fans, with plans in the works to stream full-length pics and user-generated videos and to build its social-networking offerings.
