The Nielsen Co. this morning announced a reorganization of its online and mobile measurement services, consolidating its panel-based Nielsen//NetRatings division with BuzzMetrics to form Nielsen Online, and re-branding its recently acquired Telephia unit as Nielsen Mobile. The new consolidated unit will offer online and digital media measurement services including:
* Internet media and market research products, supported by patented technologies and innovative and proven research methodologies.
* Panel-based and site-centric Internet audience measurement services.
* Demographic data, online advertising intelligence, and user lifestyle information.
* E-commerce, search and transaction metrics, custom data, research, and analysis.
* Tracking, analysis and measurement of consumer-generated media.
