Historical American Gladiators Site Launched

Just as a new generation of fans discovers the glory of events such as Joust and Powerball, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios is bringing classic episodes of American Gladiators to the Web. Starting on Jan. 28, the studio said it plans to launch AmericanGladiators.com to coincide with the show’s revival on NBC. The site will feature a mix of classic clips from the early 1990s series, along with ‘where are they now’-type video segments on former Gladiator cast members. To capitalize on the renewed Gladiators interest, MGM and Reveille also plan to host a U.S. Gladiators tour this year. Plus, plans are in the works to develop an animated series, said officials.
