NFL Develops Online Role-Playing Game for Kids

The NFL has developed NFLRush Zone (NFLRZ), which the league says is the first online role-playing game for kids developed by a major sports league. The game, which is designed for kids aged 6-15, is accessible on NFLRush.com. NFLRZ allows users to be drafted by any of the 32 NFL teams. After being drafted, players can earn their daily salary, play games in each Team Land and earn health points and “pigskins,” the Web site’s virtual currency that can be redeemed at the NFLRZ Virtual Shop.Upper Deck, a NFLRZ launch partner, is sponsoring interactive online and off-line components for game participants, including incorporating promotional codes available on all current Upper Deck Football trading cards.
