Tennis.com, the Web offshoot of Tennis Magazine, has forged a deal with NBC Universal to provide live blogging commentary for all of the 2008 Olympic tennis matches that will be streamed on NBCOlympics.com. Starting on Aug. 9 through Aug.16 Tennis.com editor Ed McGrogan and senior editor Steve Tignor will take turns providing both live play by play and analysis on the Web as various Olympic tennis matches unfold. Tignor, who’s also the executive editor of Tennis Magazine, currently authors the tennis-enthusiast aimed blog The Concrete Elbow on Tennis.com The partnership for Tennis.com comes just weeks after the site drew a record 1.5 million daily unique visitors during the Wimbledon Finals, which featured an epic match between perennial winner Roger Federer and this year’s winner Rafael Nadal.http://www.mediaweek.com/mw/content_display/news/digital-downloads/broadband/e3id41715bb599296b0c6c2a7360e0ca449
