As any Hoosier knows, high school sports in Indiana draws a fan base as dedicated as any professional sports team, yet coverage is often relegated to a footnote in local newscasts. In a bid to leverage that highly-local phenomenon, Indianapolis-based Emmis Communications and the Indiana High School Athletic Association announced a first-of-it-kind partnership to deliver coverage of Indiana high school sports online at www.ihsaasports.org. The site includes sports news, scores, video interviews, complete schedules and archived video and audio coverage. The site also features a video of a central Indiana “Game of the Week” for boys basketball and football.
