European Secondary Ticket Provider VIAGOGO to Expand to U.S.

Viagogo, the European secondary ticketing company run by StubHub co-Founder Eric Baker, today will announce plans to expand to the U.S., fueled by a new multi-year affiliation as the official ticket reseller of the Browns. Operating for only about a year, the outfit has aligned with soccer powers Manchester United, Chelsea and Bayern Munich, and recently struck a deal to handle secondary ticket sales for the NBA’s upcoming Europe Live 07 tour stop in London. The company will remain London-based, but seeks to establish offices in N.Y. and L.A. by the end of the year.
