Skype Converts Voicemail into Text Messages

Voice-to-screen messaging provider SpinVox reached a deal with Internet telephone provider Skype to offer its voice-to-text services to Skype customers. Skype users will now be able to access their voice messages converted into SMS on their cell-phone when they are not at their PC. SpinVox will reach any cellphone, so Sykpe users won’t need to download new software onto their phone to benefit from the service. The service will be available in English, Spanish, French, and German at launch.
